the price of happiness

i just got home from school today; and i just *had* to write this down, hahaha. because i'm happy. sort of, that is. and for now, that's good enough, hahaha :p

so this is what happened:

before lunchtime, i was with some of the nasaeans. at first we were just in the math room, chatting about.. well, stuff creatures like us usually talk about (that is.. weird topics, haha). after a while, xerox came in to inform us that the virus' mom needed the videocam. ok.. so we all trooped to the office to leave the camera with her. thus started the "adventure" at school.

we walked from the old building to the older building.. stopping by the canteen to buy some snacks (er.. at least i bought some snacks. the rest just ogled hahaha). we were walking from the canteen back to the old building when xerox goes, "i want to buy ice cream" (in her little "sing-song" voice, nyahahaha!) so we decided to go back to the canteen. all of us except for admin, that is (guess all that walking deprived her of much-needed energy, tsk tsk).

so there we were.. all 5 of us (virus, xerox, spikey, lois and yours truly) seated around one of the round tables of the canteen like.. like 5 weird/expelled knights bwahaha. we were just talking while eating snacks (they all had ice cream while i had turon haha). after finishing her cone, xerox declared, "i'm still not happy." right. she wanted to buy chocolate so she placed several P1 coins on the table.. and that started this afternoon's "giant bring me game" hahaha.

the 9 coins she had on the table had been minted on different years (1995 - 2003). being the OC person that she is, xerox just *had* to find a P1 coin minted either in 1994 or 2004. just to complete a sequence of 10 coins. and we, being nasaeans, naturally got into the game immediately, bwahaha (oh.. and of course, we wanted to make xerox happy - that almost never happens anymore, tsk tsk).

we "ambushed" a lot of people - louie, yeyey, joyce, ma'am diane, the canteen "ate's", chad, elem kids, miguel, ma'am alma and sir paul, among others. it was fun, hahaha. i don't remember having done that in a long time. talk to people i didn't really know, that is :p and it was surprising how so many of them were willing to reach into their pockets to see if they could come up with the elusive coins :)

like virus said, "it takes only P10 to get people to work together" (or something like that) hahaha. cool. maybe now, nasa can work on that world domination thing.. er.. wait.. world peace na lang, hahahahaha!
