strapped in

i'm sitting in front of the boob tube right now. and against my better judgment, i am watching the current circus show - the senate inquiry on the botched zte deal and the jun lozada "kidnapping" :p

this is really crazy. i find myself wondering just how it could be possible that supposedly intelligent people could ask such stupid questions. but then again.. maybe that's what politics and power can do - "stupify" people, hahaha.

i don't know whether i should laugh or cry at the inane insanity of it all..

on a different note.. i've been dreaming of vampires for the past two nights. like i said, i tend to identify with the main character of the (good) books i read. and ever since i've been reading stephanie meyer's 'vampire' books, my nights have been spent as bella hahaha.

i feel like i'm a lot like her, actually. she has this tendency to attract "monsters" while i attract "aliens." she can be soooooooo deeply, insanely in love (and much to my chagrin, so can i). bella can be extremely happy (especially when she's with her sweetie :x).. but when she's down, she's *really* down. oh. and she can't wait to get bitten (she wants to be a vampire). hahaha. man, i can *definitely* relate.

hmmmm. i'm thinking i ought to be strapped in.. *real* soon..
