for the longest time, whenever i hear "fruitcake" i always think "recycled" hahaha :p well, fruitcakes are notorious for being passed around as recycled christmas gifts, right? it's like *nobody* ever wants to get it.. but they just keep popping up.. and so the poor fruitcakes just get passed on from person to person.. until they return to their original maker/sender, i guess, haha!but for the past 5 years or so, i noticed that we haven't received fruitcakes from *anyone* at all. weird. it's like fruitcakes have been replaced by other stuff - bags/wallets, mugs, bracelets, handkerchiefs, etc. the situation has gotten so bad that i have to admit.. (gasp) I MISS FRUITCAKES!!
really. i miss them. the literal and the figurative kinds haha :p
where have all the fruitcakes gone?!?!
thank goodness this christmas we received *one* box from a relative. yes! hahaha.
watch out for the return of the fruitcakes! bwahahahahaha..
