apparently, i am still not entitled to my one whole day of rest. coz even though today is a wednesday, i still had to be at school early to attend a joint meeting of the science and math departments. we needed to discuss the activities for february's math/science week.
also, batch08 had practice for monday's field demo/street dance/whatever. hahaha. i was actually quite surprised to see a lot of them there. well, good. they should attend practices. win or lose.. they should at least try to win hahaha. anyway, i'm still rooting for them. (they are, after all, my favorite batch (naturally! sheesh..)
i didn't get to eat lunch at all coz we math dept people spent a lot of time setting up the stuff for our "christmas sudoku" game. each department was tasked to come up with a game for the faculty/staff/reps christmas party (1.30-5pm, multipurpose hall).. and well, being math people, that's what we naturally thought of hahaha. i thoroughly enjoyed solving that puzzle with them during lunch. i didn't feel hungry at all.. even though i hadn't eaten breakfast either. seriously :p
when we were done setting up the sudoku puzzles, mich and i went to shoppersville to buy some last minute stuff for the christmas party. we were both so hungry that we rushed to get back to school asap to make sure we didn't miss the food hahaha. the program had already started when we got to the multi; and the games were interesting (not as interesting as the food, though, har har). thankfully, we were able to eat before we passed out from hunger :p and everything just tasted yummy to us. we weren't sure if it was because 1) it was served hot; 2) we were hungry; or 3) it was really yummy :p
after eating our fill, it was finally time to set up the colorful giant sudoku christmas puzzles for our game. hahaha. it was fun to watch the other teachers fumble with the solutions. i realized that most of them didn't even know the mechanics of the game. oh well :p the science people were the first (and only) ones to solve the puzzle. yay, science! :D
it was a good thing we made the puzzles so darned solorful.. or else i dont' think any of the people there would appreciate them hahaha. so much for that "colorful" christmas party. :p
colors continued to hound me.. even when i was at megamall later in the evening. we had our christmas carolling after the thanksgiving mass, and the different voice groups were dressed in varying colors (sopranos wore yellowgreen, altos turquoise, tenors yellow and basses red). candy-colored singers. hahaha. by day's end i was feeling kinda dizzy already - both from the hectic sked and all the bright colors that surrounded me hahaha.
so the day was literally colorful. but probably because of my continuing lack of sleep, i wasn't able to fully appreciate *anything* today hahaha. not even the christmas carolling we did in megamall tonight.
i wonder how those '60s psychedelic dudes felt when they were high.. hahahaha..
PS: i'll post some of our choir carolling pix here next time. for now, i seriously need to rest..
