i'm feeling numb. things are getting pretty ugly. it's a little too much for me really. but i'm kinda sure my instincts are right (as is so often the case).some time ago, i would have said this picture was "beautifully sad." but now, all i can say is that this picture is sad. and lonely. i don't find it beautiful anymore. i forgot where to find beauty in sadness. maybe there isn't any, at all.
