the long and winding road

ok, i admit it. i initially had misgivings about driving the group to the pgr today. i mean, come on.. with the high price of gasoline, who wouldn't?! and the sacred heart novitiate is not exactly a stone's throw from our place. plus, i kinda miss serving in the tv mass.. so yeah, i really didn't want to drive all the way to the pgr.

but in a way, i'm glad i did. for one thing, i enjoy long drives. so long as i'm not stuck in traffic or anything haha. besides, it was fun to have some 'bonding' time with other music ministers. it was also good to hear the retreatants share their stories so sincerely. *sigh* it makes me feel a bit nostalgic XP oh, and the lunch was delicious. fish fillet (in lemon butter sauce, i think) with mashed potatoes and soup. yumyum XD

and then of course, what made my day really happy was when my rainwish came true XP wheeee!! it rained hard on our way back to megamall. hahahaha. sweet!!! this day is awesome.. :D
