guess why

i'm happy. tired. but happy :)

i started my day at around 6:30am - woke up, freshened up and prepared to drive to choir prax with cousin doms. we left the house at about 7:30am (instrumentalists practice at 8am) and arrived at st. paul at 8:15am.

my mistake was that i didn't bring my laptop or any book to read. i whiled away the time (choir prax starts at 10am) chatting with wally and literally searching for *any* work do to :p good thing cousin apol dropped by. he asked me to help him out with some "math formulas." he's part of a team that's working on designing plans for a new building to be erected at the rockwell center. and he needed to figure out what formula to use so he can compute the area of each floor (it changes per floor 'coz the building is sloped). well, that helped me kill some time so i'm kinda grateful haha (heck.. i never knew geometry was actually useful for day to day situations! hahaha!)

choir prax was uneventful. we practiced only one song (haha.. ran was sooo upset with the song booboo last wednesday.. he made us relearn it with a vengeance haha). it wasn't that difficult.. so i had lots of time on my hands. which i kinda hated :p

by 12:30pm, i was on my way home already. i was looking forward to a relaxing afternoon at home.. with the a/c turned on at full blast. but dad and i had to bring mom to her recollection at ua&p; so that plan went kapfft. that's ok i guess.. coz dad and i got to spend some "bonding moments" together at the podium hahaha. too bad there aren't that many stores in there :(

5pm. i met up with bestfriends heidi & lian at gateway. it's been some time since we've been able to *really* go out and unwind. so yeah, i really enjoyed being with them again :) we ate dinner at burgoo (though admittedly, i wasn't in the mood to eat anything. dunno why).. where friend gina joined us. afterwards, it was shop, shop, shop!! :) gateway had a "mallwide" sale.. so we hopped from store to store (all the time telling ourselves we just had to burn off those calories we packed in eating dinner haha).. ogling the shoes.. the clothes.. *sigh*

there's just too much temptation going around, don't you agree?! ;)

oh well. i'm home now. tired yet happy. mostly happy :) yay.
