i *badly* need to make up the lost hours. sheesh. why is this summer so hectic anyway?!?! haha. ok, ok.. i'll stop complaining. i can do this. i CAN do this!!

in spite of the busyness, though.. i'm glad i have the renewed energy to do all the stuff i need to do. i am able to attend choir prax.. write articles for the newsletter.. update the songbook.. make the calendar.. prepare lectures and spend time with friends XP

hmm. today i'm back to being a teacher. er.. a teacher of teachers, that is.

i'm part of the unidev teacher training project funded by qc mayor belmonte. so from 8am-12nn, i gave samples of semi-weird word problems to the participants. i think they kinda enjoyed it hehehe XP

in the afternoon i was able to spend some time with aliens again. wow. in spite of the uber-hectic sked, i find that there's always time to spare for these guys. haha. weird. really weird.

i'm getting tired of gateway. jero can't you move your dance class to some other place?!?! XP

hahaha. yeah. i decided to name my new "baby" joe black XP

i got him from smart (coz of the plan migration thingy - no more unlimited texts to all networks for me, boo hoo hoo) yesterday at gateway.

hmm. we haven't had the chance to bond much.. but i'm looking forward to getting to know him more, hehehe

what. a. day!!

so i gave an exam early this morning.. and afterwards, i had an unplanned "alien time" with the vampire at gateway (while waiting for mama hilda to show up, hehe).. after which, i went home for a short while to pack my stuff and go to the leaders' retreat.

well, it has been a crazy-hectic summer day (like any other); but i'm glad i'm here XP after all, i have my trusty laptop and other gadgets to keep me company, haha. oh.. and for tonight, i get to room with friend hilda hehehe XP

but really. i think i am going to have a wonderful time here. i hope i'm not mistaken.. (fingers crossed)

baa baa!! haha. thanx to weird cousin doms for helping me out with the grad ball invitations last night :p at least we got to distribute the invites to 08 peeps today..

last graduation practice!! *sigh* i thought this would be a more or less relaxing day.. but i guess i thought wrong.

sir chris was having a difficult time during the rehearsal. a lot of things could use a bit more improvement but there's just no time (nor energy) to spare. hmm. good luck na lang sa graduation bukas hahaha

from the film center, i dropped by the infirmary to get mom's xray results. then jero and i met up with the rest of the nasa friends at sc. from there, i went to tita amy's office to pick up meds.. and then dropped off some of the friends along the way. jero hitched with me on my way home (dance lessons, as usual.. hahaha) and then *finally* i got here XP

well, i'm planning to have a (relatively) long sleep tonight. tomorrow's THE day haha. and a real long one, at that. i think i'm just about as nervous as the kids are about graduation day, haha. compared to what i'll be feeling in the next couple of days.. i'd have to say i'm pretty much laid back right now, hahahaha XP

hahaha. i *really* love this car - it's currently displayed in penshoppe megamall. hee hee. i wish i could have a car as small as this one. at least i wouldn't have a difficult time washing it XP hahaha..

we had lunch at the food court. "we" being me, dad and cousins ta & gabo. hmm.. gotta love razon's halo-halo.. yumyum XP ooh. and they make a mean bulalo steak too. sheesh. just thinking about it right now makes my mouth water again.. hahahaha XP

by 12.30pm i was off to makati (st paul) for the leaders' planning session. and i had another (mis)adventure. sheesh. would you believe.. i got lost yet again!!!! hahaha. talagang ligawin ako. tsk. so if that's the case.. how come up to now nobody's courting me?!?! nyahahaha XP

oh well. what a weird day. happily weird. wish i had more sundays like this.

though i could do without the 'getting lost' part hehehe XP

Imagine that you were one of the Twelve Apostles. You left home, family, trade, and whatnot and followed Jesus who came from Nazareth, a place from where, nothing good ever comes. Then Jesus says, “Do not let your heart be troubled.” His words do not seem to help ease your hurt, do they? Letting go is such a painful process that words — no matter how beautiful and sincere they are— can even intensify the sting of separation. No matter how much we are assured that the separation is only temporary, we still believe that it is better for people we love to be physically present.

But love is not love until it lets go. One who professes love but refuses to let go is not a lover. He is a parasite. Letting go is the ultimate test of love. In the Gospel today, both Jesus and the apostles needed to let go. But their mutual letting go did not mean abandonment or betrayal. Their letting go was the ultimate challenge of their love for one another. Jesus had to let go of His apostles for their sake. The apostles must let go of Jesus so He could complete the mission entrusted to Him by the Father. From then on, the love between Jesus and His disciples – you and I included – would have to grow with faith and hope.

Love demands faith and is nourished by hope. Our faith convinces us what our physical reality fails to prove: Jesus is here with us. Our hope sustains us where human expectation falls short: Jesus will come again and take us with Him to paradise. Faith, hope, and love as St. Paul wrote, are the things that last to the end; and the greatest of them is love. But love is not love until it lets go.

graduation practice!!! XP

this is the fourth day i've been hanging out with extra-terrestrials.. and i'm not complaining. however, i do wish we could hang out with my li'l sis :( geez, liz.. malapit na ang graduation.. sana makasama ka naman sa 'min.. :(

we had lunch at gateway (as usual). 'we' consisted of diosa, greggy, icecream-giver, catlover, sushi & labs, porcupine and me. after lunch, we were supposed to watch 'shutter'.. but i had to go home soon.. and porcupine had class. tsk. too bad i missed out on the fun. oh well.. maybe next time..

still, it was a good day. hahaha. i do feel rested. wow. thanx again, guys. love 'ya all.. :X

the prayer meeting and sharing tonight went well. as usual, mama nona's prayer and songs effectively led the people into worship. thanx for the 'pick-upper' mama.. i needed that today.. XP

i don't really know how i'm feeling at the moment - sad and happy at the same time. i guess i'm just grateful to have 'friends from other places' haha. it is refreshing to have them around. i'm also happy soulmate seems to be doing fine (miss her, though.. awww) and i'm also glad to have bestfriend back (at least, i hope she is).

i wonder when froggy will return, though.. *sigh*

i was with alien friends a little after lunch today.. and admittedly, i was in a sort of foul mood then :( sorry guys.. i was just feeling down.

i even got jero late for his dance class. sheesh. nahiya tuloy ako kay 'mommy paguio' kanina haha. tsk tsk. i swear.. if i get more mom problems from any of you.. grrrrr.. X(

practice tonight was.. hmm.. ok, i guess. the meeting was another matter, though. *sigh*

why LSS?

what a weekend. i'm here right now at mowelfund for the youth lss of our community. and yes.. i'm packed and loaded with technology right now nyahaha!! i brought my trusty laptop, my recorder, camera and miles of cables and what-nots just to make sure i can stay connected hahaha XP yup. thank god for technology hehehe :p

anyway. i'm in good company. if not for the searing heat, i'd say this day is near-perfect. hmm. well, i have to admit.. it's been some time since i've been with *people* hehehe :p the past weeks i've spent mostly with aliens.. that i guess it takes some time before i can readjust myself to be with actual people hahaha :p

so here are my people friends. we do look kinda normal, don't we?! hahaha. looks can be deceiving.. XP

house crashed!!

bwahaha. this day was so totally out of this world. well, for me, at least.. XP three aliens gave me a surprise visit this afternoon. sheesh. who'd have thought that our 'housecrashing' escapade yesterday would backfire on me?! nyahahaha

anyway. i had loads of fun. it's just what i needed to give me some energy for the busy weekend service ahead XD

literally alien-ated

hahaha. i think the 'unplanned' stuff tend to be more exciting than the planned/organized ones. er.. when it comes to aliens, that is hahaha XP

my original plan for the day was to go to school.. wait for grading sheets.. and then go home. but when i got to school, i found out that the aliens just finished vm practice and were looking for some outlet for their pent-up energy.

well, what else could i do?!? my built-in nasa magnet just seemed to keep attracting aliens and alien-like adventures.. so off we went, haha. apparently, the aliens missed their ufo (wyjel, who else?!).. and they gamely trooped inside - excited for the adventure, but mainly to get away from the intense summer heat XP

we went to visit pat the baby alien at his house. hahaha. poor pat. looked like he just woke up when we got there. and he said "babay" to us as soon as he opened the gate. wow. some welcome hahaha. the roadtrip became an adventure because of all the u-turns we had to take. sheesh. who'd have thought we'd get lost in the notorious teacher's village street maze?! nyahaha. i guess most nasaeans are directionally challenged XP

we passed by the talkative one's house (actually we stopped in front of it - stalker-like hahaha).. got lost again.. went to sushi's place to drop off admin & fishlover.. grabbed some food at the nasa launching pad (j'bee petron, where else?!).. picked up the goddess.. then went back to maki's place for lunch XP haha. some trip, huh?

immediately after, it was off to school (for the mc people).. then to the infirmary (for hottie & teeny's records).. then to gabez' house (where my sc kids met - sheesh, they didn't even tell me about that yesterday.. what'sup with that?! tsk. nagtatago na kayo sa 'kin.. boo hoo hoo).. then to the chapel (yeah.. but we didn't go there to pray. it was an errand for the sc peeps).. then back to sushi's place. nyahahaha.

well, it was a fun afternoon. we didn't really *do* a lot of stuff. no videoke.. no missions to accomplish.. no debauchery or anything remotely 'evil' hahaha. but i had fun. lots of it.

damn. i just realized i missed 'em aliens. matagal na rin pala kaming hindi nakakagawa ng kalokohan bwahahaha!!! XP
